The Ministry of Environment is responsible for the overall management of the Environmental Product Declaration System, with the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute (an organization entrusted with tasks, such as the selection of target products, development of PCR and certification body), and the Korea Environmental Preservation Association (a training institute for certification auditors) in charge of specific operation.
If the Energy using product you intend to certificate Environmental Product Declaration is not a target product, you must download and fill out the ‘Environmental Product Declaration Target Product Selection Proposal’ and apply to the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute.

Selection Committee
- A selection committee composed of internal and external experts will be held, determining whether to select the target product based on the conformity judgment of more than two thirds of the selection committee members.
Verification Committee
- A verification committee composed of internal and external experts will be held, determining the conformity based on the approval of more than two thirds of the verification committee members.
